Abstract

Posvetili smo se vizualni podobi, zgradbi poglavij in ilustracijam. Nato smo pregledali in analizirali tipologijo nalog v določenem gradivu. Upoštevali smo tipologijo nalog Leona Zormana v delu Sestava testov znanja in njihova uporaba v šoli.

Secondary title: Typology of exercises in textbooks for slovene language lessons in the last three years of elementary schools
Secondary abstract: In the master's thesis Typology of exercises in textbooks for slovene language lessons in the last three years of elementary schools, we focused on the typology of exercises in three workbooks by the publisher Mladinska knjiga and three workbooks published by Rokus Klett. We discuss selected workbooks Slovenščina 7, 8 and 9 and workbooks Slovenščina za vsak dan 7, 8 and 9. In the theoretical part of master's thesis, the theory of textbooks was examined, through which we presented the classification of textbooks, the textbook as a learning tool, the didactic design of textbooks and their quality where special attention was paid to the structure of the material. In the empirical part, the structure of all selected workbooks was depicted in detail. The visual image and the structure of the chapters were examined, as well as the illustrations. We then reviewed and analyzed the typology of exercises in certain materials. We took into account the typology of Leon Zorman in the work Composition of Exams and their Use in School (Sestava testov znanja in njihova uporaba v šoli). In analysing the tasks, we studied the similarities and differences between exercises, the difficulty of exercises and the number of exercises in individual books. We also studied the operational objectives of the Slovene language curriculum and determined which ones appear in certain books. We also analysed the instructions given in each task. The analysis showed that the material visually differs, and that the structure of individual workbooks also varies. We have found that the typology of exercises in the books is similar, and that there are more exercises where the student himself has to write an answer, namely the type where short answers are required and the type where filling missing information is necessary. The difficulty of exercises is not classified from easier to harder, as exercises are of a mixed type. Various exercises appear in the workbooks, those from Mladinska knjiga mostly contain more exercises. The instructions for solving exercises are appropriate, as they contain sufficient data and are not misleading. The exercises are also appropriately classified according to the curriculum, as operational objectives prescribed by the curriculum for a particular teaching unit can be found in them.
