Abstract

Predmet obravnave projektne naloge je rekonstrukcija štirikrakega semaforiziranega križišča v krožno križišče v Ormožu. Opišemo problematiko trenutnega stanja in predstavimo podatke o prometu na izbranem križišču. Prometne podatke pridobimo s pomočjo štetja prometa in podatkov o prometu iz Direkcije Republike Slovenije za infrastrukturo. Po analizi zbranih podatkov predstavimo splošno krožna križišča in nekaj osnovnih pojmov oziroma pomembnih dejstev o krožnih križiščih. S pomočjo standardov, pravilnikov in tehničnih specifikacij za ceste iz raznih področij določimo elemente naše projektne rešitve – krožnega križišča. Ustreznost izbranih elementov in same projektne rešitve preverimo z izračunom nasičenosti posameznih krakov. Namen je preučitev možnosti za preureditev oziroma rekonstrukcijo obstoječega križišča in s projektno rešitvijo – krožiščem izboljšati prometno varnosti in pretočnost prometa na izbrani lokaciji.

Secondary title: Reconstruction of a traffic light intersection in Ormož
Secondary abstract: The subject of the project assignment is the reconstruction of a four-way intersection into a roundabout in the town of Ormož. The assignment consists of the description of problematic of the current situation and presents traffic data obtained at the selected intersection. The traffic data is obtained by counting traffic and with the data from the Infrastructure Directorate of the Republic of Slovenia. After analyzing the collected data, we generally describe roundabouts and some of the basic concepts and important facts about roundabouts. With the help of standards, rules and technical specifications for roads in various fields, we determine the elements of our project solution – roundabout. The suitability of the selected elements and the project solution itself is verified by calculating traffic loads for each way of the four-way intersection. The purpose of the assignment is to study the possibilities for redevelopment or reconstruction of the existing intersection and to improve safety and the flow of traffic with implementation of the project solution – the roundabout.
