Abstract
Družinska podjetja so najbolj razširjena oblika podjetništva na svetu. Prepletanje družine in podjetja je glavna značilnost družinskih podjetij in lahko na eni strani v podjetje prinese edinstvene prednosti, na drugi strani pa svojevrstne izzive. Proces nasledstva je največji izziv, s katerim se srečujejo družinska podjetja, saj ga večini podjetij ne uspe uspešno prestati. Planiranje nasledstva je ključ do uspešnega nasledstva, kljub temu se večina družinskih podjetij v nasledstvo poda nepripravljeno.
Podjetje Our Space Appliances d. o. o., je podjetje, ki je v večinski lasti ene družine in je trenutno v procesu nasledstva. Večinski lastnik je dobro leto pred upokojitvijo in ima željo in namen podjetje predati naslednji generaciji. Proučili smo, na kakšen način v podjetju nasledstvo planirajo in katere so tiste aktivnosti nasledstva, ki v podjetju potekajo.
Ugotovili smo, da se akterji nasledstva zavedajo pomembnosti načrtovanja nasledstva, da v podjetju že dve leti o nasledstvu razmišljajo, se pogovarjajo in delajo poteze v tej smeri. Kljub vsemu pa podjetje Our Space Appliances d. o. o., nima formalnega plana nasledstva. Predlagamo jim, da se nasledstva lotijo bolj sistematično in da v nasledstvo vključijo dodatne aktivnosti, kot so načrt usposabljanja naslednika, razvoj strategije za podjetje po nasledstvu in ustvarjanje dokumenta, v katerem zapišejo generalna pravila podjetja, lastniška pravila in vrednote in cilje podjetja.
Ključnega pomena je vključiti vse akterje v proces nasledstva, tako aktivne kot neaktivne družinske člane, lastnike podjetja in tudi vse druge zaposlene v podjetju. Menimo, da je treba za uspešno nasledstvo upoštevati mnenja, želje in pričakovanja vseh. Oblikovali smo model nasledstva v družinskih podjetjih, pri tem pa bi radi opozorili, da je vsako družinsko podjetje zase edinstveno, zato je treba pristopati k procesu nasledstva v vsakem od njih na unikaten način.

Family businesses are the most widespread form of entrepreneurship in the world. Family-business interconnection is a major feature of family-owned businesses and can bring unique benefits to the business on the one hand, and unique challenges on the other. The succession process is the biggest challenge that family businesses face, as most businesses fail to successfully endure it. Succession planning is the key to a successful succession, however, most family-owned businesses are unprepared.
Our Space Appliances d. o. o., is a company that is majority owned by one family and is currently in the process of succession. The majority owner has a good year ahead of retirement and has the desire and purpose to pass the company on to the next generation. We looked at how succession plans are planned at the company and what are the succession activities that take place at the company.
We have found that succession actors are aware of the importance of succession planning, that they have been thinking about, succeeding, and making moves in the direction of succession within the company for two years. Still, Our Space Appliances d. o. o., has no formal succession plan. We suggest that the succession is addressed more systematically and include additional activities such as successor training plans, developing a succession strategy, and creating a document that spells out the company’s general rules, ownership rules, and company values and goals.
It is important to involve all actors in the succession process, both active and non-active family members, business owners and all other employees of the company. We believe that a successful succession requires considering the opinions, wishes and expectations of everyone. We have developed a model of succession in family businesses, and we would like to point out that each family business is unique too, so it is necessary to approach the succession process in each of them in a unique way. |
