Abstract

Teoretična izhodišča: Aspergerjev sindrom je pervazivna razvojna motnja, za katero so značilna odstopanja v socialni interakciji, komunikaciji ter fleksibilnost mišljenja. Število otrok z Aspergerjevim sindromom narašča, veliko jih je še vedno nediagnosticiranih. Raziskovalna metodologija in metode: Uporabili smo kvantitativno metodologijo raziskovanja. Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo dela. Raziskavo smo izvedli z anketnim vprašalnikom, ki ga je izpolnilo 30 anketirancev. Rezultati so analizirani s pomočjo računalniškega programa Microsoft Excel in opisno obrazloženi. Rezultati: Ugotovili smo, da anketiranci ne poznajo dovolj dobro Aspergerjevega sindroma ter njegovih simptomov, vendar se velika večina z otrokom z Aspergerjevim sindromom ni srečala in imajo težave pri pristopu kadar obravnavajo otroka s katero od motenj avtističnega spektra. Diskusija in zaključek: Ugotovili smo, da število otrok z motnjo avtističnega spektra narašča. Anketiranci so mnenja, da imajo primanjkljaj znanja na področju motenj avtističnega spektra, kljub različnim možnostim za izobraževanja. Z znanjem o motnjah avtističnega spektra pripomoremo h kakovostnemu pristopu in komunikaciji v obravnavi otrok s katero koli od motenj avtističnega spektra.

Secondary abstract: Theoretical background: Asperger syndrome is pervasive developmental disorder, that have deviations in social interaction, communications and flexibility of thinking. Numbers of children with asperger syndrome is rising, a lot of them are still undiagnosed. Research methods: We used quantitative research methodology. We used a descriptive method of work. The survey was conducted with a questionnaire completed by 30 respondents. The results are analyzed using a Microsoft Excel computer program and explained in a descriptive way. Results: We found that respondents were not sufficiently aware of asperger's syndrome and its symptoms, and that they had difficulty accessing when treating a child with any of the autism spectrum disorders. Discussion and conclusion: We find that the number of children with autism spectrum disorder is increasing. Respondents are of the opinion that they have a lack of knowledge in the field of autism spectrum disorders, despite different educational opportunities. Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders contributes to a quality approach and communication in dealing with children with any of the autism spectrum disorders.
