Abstract

Znanstvena monografija Contemporary topics in education IV: part I, predstavlja 12 recenziranih samostojnih poglavij doktorskih študentov, nekatera v soavtorstvu z mentorji, ki sta jih uredila Janez Vogrinc in Iztok Devetak. Prispevki obravnavajo sodobne teme na področju edukacije, in sicer na področju kemijskega izobraževanja ("Non-formal chemistry education in Slovenia" in "Guided active learning in chemistry (GALC)"), izobraževanja nadarjenih ("Preschool teachers' assessments in early identification of creative -productive giftedness"), likovne pedagogike ("The significance of virtual experience for drawing performance of a 7-year-old child"), poučevanja angleščine ("The potential of online practice materials in English language teaching"), didaktike ("The influences of the teaching and learning process in the school infrastructure design") in drugih področjih ("Elementary school teachers' opinions on learning and teaching in the digital age"; "Principals' role in developing professional learning communities"; "Institutional autonomy of public universities in the new context"; "Differences in students' self-regulated learning according to their age and gender"; "Exploring the contribution of mentor's feedback on development of student-teacher's lesson planning skills and instructional strategies"; "Design-based research - a model to connect theory and practice in research"). Prispevki odpirajo pomembne teme na področju edukacije ter prispevajo k razvoju področja.
