Abstract

France Bevk je napisal več kot 160 literarnih del za odrasle, otroke in mladino. Med temi deli sem izbrala tri povesti: Lukec in njegov škorec (1931), Pesterna (1939) in Peter Klepec (1956) in jih natančneje obravnavala. Diplomsko delo zajema teoretični in empirični del. V teoretičnem delu bom predstavila življenje in delo Franceta Bevka, prav tako pa tudi vrste in pomen vrednot, ki zaznamujejo obravnavana dela. V empiričnem delu bom s pomočjo literarne analize opisala glavne sestavine obravnavanih povesti. S pomočjo ustrezne strokovne literature bom primerjala pojmovanje otroštva na prelomih iz 19. v 20. stoletje in iz 20. v 21. stoletje, kot izhodiščno delo pa bom uporabila Bevkovo avtobiografijo Moja mladost (1969).

Secondary abstract: France Bevk wrote more than 160 literary works for adults, children and youth. Among these works, I chose three stories: Lukec in njegov škorec (1931), Pesterna (1939) and Peter Klepec (1956) and discussed them in greater detail. The diploma thesis includes a theoretical and an empirical part. In the theoretical part, I will present the life and work of France Bevk, as well as the types and meaning of the values that characterize the works in question. In the empirical part, the main components of the considered stories are described by means of literary analysis. With reference to the relevant professional literature, I will compare the notion of childhood at the turn of the 19th and of the 20th century, respectively,using Bevk's autobiography Moja mladost (1969) as a starting point.
