diplomsko delo
Abstract

Use of artificial intelligence in international trade |
Secondary abstract: |
The topic of the thesis is the treatment of artificial intelligence from the perspective of international trade. Namely, nowadays, artificial intelligence is present in almost all aspects of human life, from some of the simplest things like sorting spam all the way to using artificial intelligence to treat people. Artificial intelligence belongs to the fourth industrial revolution (Industria 4.0) and it is to be expected that the new industrial revolution, like all previous ones, will make many changes in the business of companies and countries. In the thesis, we first explain the concepts of Artificial Intelligence and International Trade, and then focus on ways to use artificial intelligence in trade and business of companies and countries. So, we present how artificial intelligence has changed international trade and how it will continue to do so. As a practical part, we present the success of the development and use of artificial intelligence in EU business, and compare the EU with the US and China. The next area of discussion of the diploma thesis refers to trade rules, or the appropriate regulatory framework, which must be ensured in order for the impact of artificial intelligence on business and people's lives to be positive. In this part, we present the attitude towards the formation of rules for the development of AI in China, the USA and the EU.
As artificial intelligence accelerates the transition to service economies through vast amounts of data, distrust and ethical dilemmas of people arise as a result. The main risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence relate to the application of fundamental rights protection rules (including the protection of personal data and privacy and the principles of non-discrimination), as well as security and liability issues. Due to the importance of these risks, we also discuss the ethical aspects of the use of artificial intelligence, emphasizing the European approach to formulating rules for the development of AI - human-oriented artificial intelligence. |
