diplomsko delo

Abstract

Secondary title: The impact of rewards on the motivation and satisfaction of employees in the company X
Secondary abstract: Employees who are motivated and satisfied at work do their job better and have a great impact on the company's performance. This means that with a high level of satisfaction, people find it harder to decide to leave their job and the company therefore becomes more competitive as it keeps skilled workers and prevents them from leaving. The motivation and satisfaction of employees depends mainly on the monetary and non-monetary rewards that are present in the company. It is essential that superiors determine which types of rewards are the ones that motivate employees the most, as they can only achieve the desired results with the right way of rewarding. The purpose of my thesis is to use a case study to determine how rewarding affects the motivation and satisfaction of employees, which types of rewards motivate them the most, and whether they are satisfied with the existing system or not. The results of the analysis show that employees are satisfied with the rewards in company X and have only minor suggestions for improvements but have some suggestions for improvements related to socializing outside the workplace, which would lead to greater connectivity between employees. Rewarding in this company is one of the main factors influencing the motivation and satisfaction of employees, and both monetary and non-monetary rewards are present, to approximately the same extent.
