Abstract

Cilj diplomskega dela je opisati razvoj moči pri šprinterjih, v želji po povečanju njihove hitrosti in raziskati, ali pride do razlik v treningu moči pri atletih, ki tečejo kratke šprinte ter pri tistih, ki tečejo dolge. Na začetku sem predstavila osnove šprinta. Najprej sem zajela njegove začetke in kako se je izoblikoval skozi različna zgodovinska obdobja in nadaljevala z osnovno tehniko ter dinamiko šprinterske lastnosti. V tem poglavju sem izvedela, katera dejavnika imata največji vpliv na hitrost v šprintu in katera je tista faza šprinta, ki največ doprinese h končnemu rezultatu, oz. čemu se splača nameniti največ pozornosti pri treningu. Kot osnovo za doseganje cilja sem pod drobnogled vzela moč kot motorično sposobnost, preučila njene vrste, metode in načela razvoja. V glavnem delu sem šprinterje razdelila v 2 skupini glede na starost in razvoj ter raziskala in predstavila najbolj uporabne načine ter vaje za razvoj moči posameznih mišičnih skupin in za razvoj odrivne moči.

Secondary abstract: The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to describe the development of strength in sprinters, with the desire to increase their speed and investigate whether there are differences in strength training in athletes who run short sprints and those who run long ones. At the beginning, I introduced the basics of sprinting. I first covered its beginings and how it developed through different historical periods and then continued with the basic technique as well as the dynamics of sprinting characteristic. I learned which factors have the greatest impact on the sprint speed and which stage contributes the most to the final result; or rather what is worth paying most attention to during training. As the basis for achieving the goal, I took a closer look at strength as a motor ability; examining its types, methods, and principles of development. In the main part, I divided the sprinters into two groups; according to age and development. I researched as well as presented the most useful ways and exercises for strength development of the individual muscle groups and for development of propulsive power.
