Abstract

Diplomsko delo sem začela z opredelitvijo pojma zadovoljstva zaposlenih na delovnem mestu. Sledi podroben opis desetih ključnih faktorjev zadovoljstva zaposlenih. Vsa podjetja bi morala zagotavljati zadovoljstvo svojim zaposlenim, saj le tako delajo bolj kakovostno, kar posledično vodi v uspešnost celotnega podjetja. Naslednje področje, s katerim sem se ukvarjala, je bilo merjenje zadovoljstva na delovnem mestu. Pri tem sem poudarila pomen merjenja in opisala dve pomembni in najbolj znani raziskavi, ki merita zadovoljstvo zaposlenih (Lestvica delovnega zadovoljstva, projekt SiOK). Nazadnje pa sem v teoretičnem delu navedla še posledice v primeru nezadovoljstva na delovnem mestu. Tukaj sem podrobneje opisala absentizem, prezentizem in fluktuacijo. Cilj empiričnega dela je bil na podlagi teorije skupaj v povezavi s spletno anketo raziskati, kakšna je stopnja zadovoljstva zaposlenih v podjetju X. Zaposleni so zadovoljni z glavnino dejavnikov, spremembe bi bile potrebne na področju plač in stimulacij. V podjetju X bi morali uvesti boljše pogoje plač, s čimer bi povečali zadovoljstvo zaposlenih, kar bi pripomoglo k večji uspešnosti podjetja.

Secondary title: Employee satisfaction in company X
Secondary abstract: I started my diploma work by defining the concept of employee job satisfaction. Then followes a detailed description of the ten most important factors of job satisfaction. All companies should ensure that their employees are satisfied, because only then they will work more efficiently, which in turn will lead to the success of the company as a whole. The next area I worked on was measuring job satisfaction. I stressed of the importance of measurement and described two of the most important and well-known surveys measuring employee satisfaction (Job Satisfaction Scale, SiOK project). Finally, in the theoretical part, I have outlined the consequences of job dissatisfaction. Here, I have described the issues in more detail: absenteeism, presenteeism and fluctuation. The aim of the empirical work was to explore the level of employee satisfaction in company X, based on theory and combined with an online survey. Employees are satisfied with most of the factors, but changes would be needed in the areas of pay and stimulation. Company X should introduce better pay conditions to increase employee satisfaction, which would help improve the company´s success.
