Secondary abstract: | The paper reveals the importance of great poets to small nations, who incorporate the literatures to which they belong into the common European cultural process. The reason for this article is the first complete translation of France Prešeren’s poetry into Bulgarian, which appeared in 2021. The translator explains not only the importance of the main Slovene poet for Bulgarians, but also reflects on the transfer of linguistic and sociocultural context, as well as on his approach to Prešeren’s »speaking« in Bulgarian. |
