Abstract

Spletno analitiko uporablja večina spletnih strani. Omogoča nam zbiranje in analizo podatkov o uporabi spletnih mest. V delu smo si ogledali razliko med notranjo in zunanjo analitiko. Pogledali smo najbolj pogosti metodi zbiranja podatkov, to sta označevanje strani in analiza strežniških zapisov. Pregledali smo šest sistemov za spletno analitiko, med njimi so Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, Plausible, Open Web Analytics in GoAccess. Ugotovili smo, da je potrebno plačati za uporabo večine orodij vsaj za večje število uporabnikov in funkcij. Večina sistemov z največjim tržnim deležem uporablja metodo označevanja strani. Uvedli smo Google Analytics in ugotovili, da sama uvedba ni zahtevna.

Secondary abstract: Web analytics is used by most websites. It enables us to collect and analyse data about the usage of our website. In the assignment we looked at the difference between on-site and off-site analytics. We looked at the most commonly used data collection methods, which are page tagging and server log analysis. We made an overview of six web analytics systems, among them Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, Open Web Analytics, Plausible and GoAccess. We found that it is required to pay for most of these tools at least if you have a higher number of monthly views or want to access more functionalities. Most tools with the highest market share use the method of page tagging. We deployed Google Analytics and found that the deployment itself was not difficult.
