| Secondary abstract: | The paper presents the process of designing and creating a functional robotic arm with 5 degrees of freedom using a 3D printer. After the introductory, in which we introduce ourselves with the historical development of robots, the process of creating a 3D model of the robot’s mechanical structure is presented as well as the physical creation of parts using a 3D printer. Servomotors are selected for the drive part which are controlled by Arduino microcontroller. The final result of the process is a functional robotic arm that can be controlled in two ways – using an application on a smartphone or a pre-written code. |
