Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela z naslovom Mejniki gibalnega razvoja v povezavi s koordinacijo je bil ugotoviti, kdaj so otroci dosegali mejnike gibalnega razvoja in kakšna je povezava med doseganjem mejnikov gibalnega razvoja ter razvitostjo koordinacije. Osredotočili smo se na šest ključnih mejnikov gibalnega razvoja. Izvedli smo empirično raziskavo, v kateri je sodelovalo 21 otrok, starih 54-61 mesecev, in njihovi starši. Pri zbiranju podatkov smo uporabili deskriptivno in kavzalno-neeksperimentalno metodo. Podatke smo zbirali s pomočjo kvantitativne tehnike. V skladu s cilji smo s pomočjo ankete ugotovili, pri kateri starosti so otroci dosegali mejnike gibalnega razvoja, s pomočjo sedmih motoričnih testov pa ugotovili, kako imajo otroci razvito koordinacijo. Ugotovili smo, da so mejniki gibalnega razvoja in razvitost koordinacije v neznatni pozitivni povezanosti ali v šibki negativni povezanosti.

Secondary abstract: The aim of the dissertation 'Motor developmental milestones in connection with coordination' was to identify at which age children reach milestones in motor development, and what is the correlation between reaching milestones in motor development and coordination skills. The focus was on six key milestones in motor development. An empirical study was carried out on 21 children aged between 54 and 61 months, and their parents. The method for collecting data was descriptive, and causal non-experimental. Data was collected using quantitative techniques. In accordance with the objectives, the survey indicated at which age children reached motor developmental milestones, and children's coordination skills were determined based on seven motor tests. The findings show that the correlation between motor developmental milestones and coordination skills is insignificantly positive or slightly negative.
