Abstract

Magistrsko delo opisuje eksperimentalni pristop pri uporabi stereo vida za tridimenzionalno zaznavo objektov v proizvodnih sistemih. V delu je opisan postopek, kako z nizkocenovno opremo lahko zajemamo optične informacije, s katerimi razen širine in dolžine dobimo še tretjo dimenzijo, globino. Podana je osnovna razlaga pomembnih pojmov strojnega vida ter prikaz na primerih v praksi. Prikazana je kalibracija sistema v programskem okolju Matlab ter rezultati v pogledu globinskega zemljevida. Razloženi sta težavi, s katerima smo se soočili med delom. Naša glavna naloga je pridobiti tretjo dimenzijo iz zajetih slik in razviti sistem, ki se bo testiral s primeri realnih objektov iz proizvodnega okolja.

Secondary abstract: The master's thesis describes an experimental approach to the use of stereo vision based three-dimensional object detection in production systems. The work describes the process of how low-cost equipment can be used to capture optical information, with which, in addition to width and length, we obtain a third dimension, depth. A basic explanation of the important concepts of machine vision is provided, as well as examples in practice. The calibration of the system in the Matlab software environment and the results in the view of the depth map are shown. The problems we faced during the work are explained. Our main task is to obtain the third dimension from captured images and develop a system that will be tested with examples of real objects from the production environment.
