Abstract

Predmet razprave diplomskega dela je tetivni štirikotnik ABCD z očrtano krožnico k ter presečiščem diagonal E. V diplomskem delu so opisani in natančno dokazani nekateri novejši rezultati o tetivnih štirikotnikih. Poseben poudarek je namenjen rezultatom, ki jih je mogoče dokazati s pomočjo koncepta polarnosti, rezultatom o značilnih točkah trikotnikov ABC, ABD, ACD in BCD, rezultatom o simetralah kotov ter rezultatom o značilnih točkah trikotnikov ABE, BCE, CDE in ADE.

Secondary abstract:	The main topic of this diploma thesis is the cyclic quadrilateral ABCD with the circumcircle k and the intersection of diagonals E. The diploma thesis includes a description and a concise proof of some of the newest findings concerning cyclic quadrilaterals. Particular emphasis has been placed upon findings which can be proven with the help of the polarity concept, findings concerning the distinct points of the triangles ABC, ABD, ACD, and BCD, findings about the angle bisectors, and findings concerning the distinct points of the triangles ABE, BCE, CDE, and ADE.
