Abstract

V magistrskem delu smo raziskali uporabo gibalnih dejavnosti pri pouku tujega jezika in razvili lastni instrumentarij, ki vključuje gibalne dejavnosti pri pouku tujega jezika na razredni stopnji. V teoretičnem delu magistrskega dela smo se najprej osredotočili na gibalne dejavnosti in predstavili nekatere pristope medpredmetnega povezovanja pri pouku tujega jezika, v zadnjem delu teoretičnega dela pa smo povezali uporabo gibalnih dejavnosti pri pouku tujega jezika in poiskali raziskave, ki vključujejo uporabo gibalnih dejavnosti pri pouku tujega jezika v osnovni šoli. V praktičnem delu smo razvili lasten instrumentarij, ki bo služil učiteljem, ki poučujejo tuji jezik na nižji stopnji OŠ kot primer dobre prakse vključevanja gibalnih dejavnosti v pouk tujega jezika v 1. in 2. vzgojno-izobraževalno obdobje. Instrumentarij smo oblikovali v štirih sklopih, ki zajemajo različne gibalne dejavnosti pri pouku tujega jezika. V prvi fazi smo navedli primere gibalnih dejavnosti, ki so primerne za delitev v pare oz. skupine, v drugi fazi gibalne dejavnosti, ki so primerne za uvodni del učne ure, v tretji fazi dejavnosti primerne za osrednji oz. glavni del ure in v četrti fazi dejavnosti, ki so primerne za zaključni del učne ure tujega jezika. V drugem razredu osnovne šole smo pri pouku tujega jezika izvedli deset gibalnih dejavnosti in s pomočjo vodenega intervjuja za učenca ter s pomočjo samo-refleksije izvajalca evalvirali izvedbo gibalnih dejavnosti v tujem jeziku. S pomočjo povratne informacije učencev in izvajalca ugotavljamo, da ima vključevanje gibalnih dejavnosti k pouku tujega jezika pozitiven vpliv na učenje tujega jezika.

Secondary abstract: In this Master's thesis, we investigated the use of movement activities in foreign language teaching and developed our own instrument, which includes movement activities in foreign language teaching at the primary level. In the theoretical part of the Master's thesis, we first focused on movement activities and presented some examples of interdisciplinary integration in foreign language teaching. Then, we linked the use of movement activities in foreign language teaching and examined the research papers focusing on the use of movement activities in primary school foreign language teaching. In the practical section, we developed our own instrument, which will serve as a model to foreign language teachers who may integrate movement activities into foreign language classes in the first and second cycle of primary education. The instrument has been developed in four sets, each covering a different movement activity in foreign language teaching. We provide examples of movement activities suitable for pairing or grouping in the first part of the lesson, movement activities suitable for the introductory part of the lesson, activities suitable for the central or main part of the lesson, and activities suitable for the final part of the foreign language lesson. Ten movement activities were carried out in an English class (as a foreign language) with eight-year-olds. The implementation of the movement activities in the foreign language lessons was evaluated by a guided interview for the pupils and a teacher’s self-reflection. From the results of the pupils’ and teacher’s feedback we may conclude that incorporating movement activities into foreign language lessons benefits foreign language learning.
