Abstract

Magistrska naloga se navezuje na zavzetost in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih. Med drugim poudarja pomen zavzetih in zadovoljnih zaposlenih za uspešnost podjetja. Tako sta v teoretičnem delu široko opredeljena pojma zavzetost (kaj je zavzetost, kako se meri, značilnosti zavzetega zaposlenega, vpliv zavzetosti na uspešnost ter kako izboljšati zavzetost) in zadovoljstvo (kaj je zadovoljstvo, kako se meri, značilnosti zadovoljnega zaposlenega, vpliv zadovoljstva na uspešnost podjetja ter kako izboljšati zadovoljstvo). Praktični del magistrske naloge se navezuje na zavzetost in zadovoljstvo v podjetju Slovenske železnice. Najprej je podan podroben opis podjetja, ki zajema osnovne podatke, organizacijsko strukturo, poslovni model, strateške dejavnosti, vodenje in upravljanje, zaposlene, skrb za okolje in trajnostni razvoj ter ključne rezultate podjetja. Za opisom podjetja sledi raziskava, ki smo jo izvedli s pomočjo anketnih vprašalnikov in raziskuje zavzetost ter zadovoljstvo v omenjenem podjetju gleda na demografske spremenljivke. Rezultati so pokazali, da je v podjetju Slovenske železnice večina zaposlenih na sploh zavzetih in zadovoljnih, obstajajo pa pomembne razlike glede na posamezna raziskana področja.

Secondary abstract: The master's thesis is related to the commitment and satisfaction of employees. Among other things, it emphasizes the importance of engaged and satisfied employees for the success of the company. Thus, in the theoretical part, the terms engagement (what engagement is, how it is measured, characteristics of an engaged employee, impact of engagement on performance and how to improve engagement) and satisfaction (what satisfaction is, how it is measured, characteristics of a satisfied employee, impact of satisfaction on performance) are broadly defined companies and how to improve satisfaction). The practical part of the master's thesis is related to commitment and satisfaction in the company Slovenske železnice. First, a detailed description of the company is given, which includes basic data, organizational structure, business model, strategic activities, leadership and management, employees, care for the environment, sustainable development and key results of the company. The description of the company is followed by a survey, which we carried out with the help of questionnaires, which investigates commitment and satisfaction in the mentioned company, looking at demographic variables. The results showed that the majority of employees in the company Slovenske železnice are generally engaged and satisfied, but there are significant differences according to the individual researched areas.
