Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela je omogočiti otrokom neposredno spoznavanje in prepoznavanje snovi, ki jih vsakodnevno srečujejo v domačem okolju. Te snovi otrokom približamo s pomočjo projektnega dela, ki jim omogoča samostojno raziskovanje. V teoretičnem delu tako predstavljamo možnosti in pomen zgodnjega uvajanja naravoslovja v povezavi s kognitivnim razvojem otroka ter projektno delo kot model, ki omogoča aktivno vključevanje otrok v raziskovanje naravnega okolja. V empiričnem delu je najprej predstavljena idejna in didaktična zasnova projekta 'Otrok raziskuje snovi'. Projekt je trajal pet dni. Za vsak dan je podan opis izvedbe in analiza z osnovnimi ugotovitvami.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of a dissertation, is to enable to children directly cognition and identifying of substances that they daily meet in an domestic environment. These substances are brought closer to children through project work, who enables them the independent research. In the theoretical part we present opportunities and the importance of early introduction of science in a relation to the child's cognitive development and the project work as a model, which enables the active involvement of children into exploration of the natural environment. The empirical part presents a conceptual and didactic design of the project "A child explores materials". The project lasted five days. For every day a description of performance and the analysis of the basic findings is handed.
