Abstract

Ekskurzija predstavlja pomemben del učnega procesa v osnovni šoli, saj v sklopu nje učenci pridobivajo praktična znanja in izkušnje, ki jih ne bi mogli pridobiti znotraj učilnice. Učenci med ekskurzijo lažje razvijajo svoje spretnosti, sistematično opazovanje, primerjanje, povezovanje dejstev, kar pa jim nenazadnje pomaga pri razvoju logičnega in kritičnega mišljenja. Prav vse našteto pa spodbuja tudi učni načrt za družbo, kjer je v didaktičnih priporočilih navedeno, da morajo učenci spoznavati prostor in značilnosti, povezane z njim, neposredno. V našem magistrskem delu smo v teoretičnem delu predstavili predmet družba v 5. razredu, nato pa se osredotočili na opredelitev ekskurzije in medpredmetno povezovanje, ki je povezano z njo. Predstavili smo tudi zgodovinske, sociološke in naravno geografske vidike Pragerskega. V praktičnem delu smo pregledali, v kolikšni meri predlagajo učbeniki, delovni zvezki in priročniki za učitelje, izvedbo ekskurzij. Ugotovili smo, da je gradiv, ki predlagajo izvedbo ekskurzije, malo. Prav tako smo pripravili podrobno učno pripravo za izvedbo ekskurzije. Ekskurzijo po domačem kraju smo skupaj z 21 učenci 5. razreda izvedli in jo tudi evalvirali. V sklopu empiričnega dela smo analizirali pridobljene podatke iz kviza (pred in po izvedbi ekskurzije) in anketnega vprašalnika. Naš namen je bil raziskati, kako vključevanje ekskurzij po domačem kraju, pripomore k boljšemu poznavanju domačega kraja. Ugotovili smo, da so učenci dosegli boljše rezultate pri ponovnem reševanju kviza (po ekskurziji), kar pomeni, da je ekskurzija pripomogla k boljšemu poznavanju domačega kraja. Prav tako so učenci v anketnih vprašalnikih navedli, da so se tekom ekskurzije dobro počutili in se zabavali, ter da bi si želeli takšne oblike pouka izvajati pogosteje.

Secondary title: Excursion around Pragersko for social studies in the 5th grade
Secondary abstract: Excursions are an important part of the learning process in primary school as it helps pupils to acquire practical knowledge and experiences that they would not get in the classroom. During the excursion, pupils can develop their skills, systematic observation, comparison, and how to connect facts more easily, which ultimately helps them develop logical and critical thinking. All of the above is also encouraged by the social studies curriculum, where didactic recommendations state that pupils need to get to know space and its characteristics associated with it directly. The theoretical part of this master's thesis presents social studies in the 5th grade and focuses on the definition of the excursion and the transversal connection related to it. It also describes historical, sociological, and natural aspects of Pragersko. The practical part analyses the extent to which textbooks, workbooks, and manuals for teachers suggest the implementation of excursions. We have found that there are few materials suggesting the implementation of excursions. We have also prepared a detailed lesson plan for one excursion. We carried out the excursion around our hometown together with 21 pupils of the 5th grade and also evaluated it. The empirical part analyses the data obtained from a quiz (before and after the excursion) and a questionnaire. Our purpose was to investigate how the inclusion of excursions around hometown contributes to a better knowledge of the hometown. We found that pupils achieved better results when solving the quiz again (after the excursion), which means that the excursion helped them get to know their hometown better. The pupils also stated in the survey questionnaires that they felt good and had fun during the excursion, and that they would like to have more of such lessons.
