Abstract

The article attempts to characterize the new textual practices that have emerged in the Slovene theatre over the past few years, and belong to the methodological field of the post-dramatic as defined by the German theorist Hans-Thies Lehmann in his work Post-dramatic Theatre. Rather than exploring how these practices adapt to Lehmann's theory the article focuses on their new formal processes and their specific relation to stage performance. To that end, it gives a detailed analysis of Simona Semeničʼs drama the feast or the story of a savoury corpse or how roman abramovič, the personage janša, julia kristeva, age 24, simona semenič and the initials z. i. found themselves in a puff of tobacco smoke. |
