diplomsko delo
Abstract
Praktični del diplomskega dela vsebuje moja lastna dela in njihovo analizo.

THE SKY IN PAINTING |
Secondary abstract: |
The beginning of the final thesis titled "The sky in painting" reveals some data regarding to the physical characteristics of the sky and formation of clouds after the classification. The following data represent artistic expression and explain the way how artists imagined the sky, included it as a base of message holder, which is expressed in the paintings' composition. Development and inclusion of the sky various ways of artits' viewpoints, regarding to different period, are represented by brief historical description and examples. Furthermore the thesis touches on perspective. In general it puts emphasis on atmospheric or aerial perspective to which reference is made by artists in their artistic works. The main part of thesis is focused on two painters Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovskiy and Joseph Mallord William Turner, who most often included the sky in their paintings as base for presentation of space, aeration and deepnes in painting. Štefan Planinc, as Slovene representative, is also presented. He mainly uses the sky a base of its own fantasy wold and opens it into infinite space. My own works and their analises are included as practical part of the final thesis. |
