diplomsko delo
Abstract
V diplomskem delu z naslovom Ledinska in hišna imena v izbranih naseljih občine Grad so bila zbrana ledinska in hišna imena v vaseh Grad, Kruplivnik in Radovci. Ledinska in hišna imena predstavljajo v teh krajih velik del kulturne dediščine, saj gre za območje že skoraj tisočletnega toka okrog največjega slovenskega gradu. S pomočjo imen se da razbrati še nekatere neraziskane dele pokrajinskih značilnosti, dodatne povezave vpliva zemljiške gospode, ni pa zapostavljen niti mali kmečki človek. Prav zategadelj je nastal ta pester in številen nabor ledinskih in hišnih imen, mnogih tudi šaljivih in unikatnih - večinoma izvirajočih iz slovanskih jezikov, precej pa je tudi germanizmov in madžarizmov.

Microtoponyms and house names in the selected settlements of the municipality of Grad |
Secondary abstract: |
In my diploma paper, entitled Microtoponyms and house names in the selected settlements of the municipiality of Grad, microtoponyms and house names from selected settlements Grad, Kruplivnik and Radovci are gathered. In this area "grački" dialect is spoken which belongs to the dialect group of Prekmurje. Oral sources, written in a fonetical form and considered from an etymological point of view, represent the basis for gaining needed material. Microtoponyms are arranged in the following order: each phrase is written in its literary form which is followed by separator ||, then scientific dialectological transcription of an accentuated dialect name in the nominative, genitive (if any) and locative case is written, and grammatical data about it. This is followed by a category of microtoponyms (hdn, mtn, tpn) and at the end the etymological data of the name is given. Street names are written as follows: first, scientific dialectological transcription is written followed by a parenthesis, containing the official surname, with some household names a short explanation is also given, followed by separator ||, then scientific dialectological transcription of an accentuated dialect name in the nominative, genitive (if any) and locative case is written, and grammatical data about it. Some house names and microtoponyms are given etymological data, which was gained with the help of The Dictionary of Standard Written Slovene (SSKJ), Bezlaj's Etymological Dictionary of Slovenian Language (ESSJ), Bezlaj's Slovenian Water Names (SVI), Snoj's Slovenian Etymological Dictionary (SES), Snoj's Slovenian Etymological Dictionary of Geographical names (ESSZI), Pleteršnik's Dictionary (Plet.) and others. Microtoponyms and house names represent a great cultural heritage in this community, as it is an area revolving around the biggest Slovenian castle for almost thousand years. With the help of names some uncharted geographical characteristics of the area can be read, additional connections of influence of land gentry and a small peasant is not put in disadvantage either. Therefore, numerous set of microtoponyms and household names exist, many of them humorous and unique. Collected names are mostly of Slavic origin, many of them are also Germanic and Hungarian. |
