diplomsko delo

Abstract

Hiter tempo življenja, spremenjene delovne navade, večja pričakovanja in nenadne situacije v življenja prinašajo vse večje zahteve do nas samih.

Secondary title: The impact of the covid-19 pandemic on stress among employees of the selected court
Secondary abstract: Fast pace of life, changing work habits, increasing expectations, and unexpected situations bring greater demands on ourselves. All of this requires constant adjustments and knowledge, which consequently leads to elevated levels of stress. The presence of stress in the workplace is a global issue and significantly impacts the health and work performance of employees, as well as the success and productivity of organizations. In the past three years, we have experienced changes that have affected all aspects of our lives, organizations, and society on a global scale. The covid-19 pandemic rapidly affected the entire population and required adaptations and changes in all areas that we were not accustomed to. The purpose of this thesis was to examine the domestic and foreign literature on the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on employee stress and to determine the influence of the coronavirus crisis on employee stress in the selected court. The study was conducted among employees at the District Court in Ljubljana. Through a questionnaire consisting of questions related to the presence of stress among employees before and during the covid-19 pandemic, the presence of stress before and during the pandemic, the impact of covid-19 measures on the level of stress among employees, and satisfaction with work organization during the covid-19 pandemic were assessed based on employees´ self-assessment. The results showed elevated levels of stress among employees during the covid-19 pandemic, but despite the sudden situation that required rapid changes, employees were satisfied with the organization of work and organizational support. The results of the analysis revealed the most pressing factors that influence the increased levels of stress and consequent work absences, so they can help the court management solve the problem in this area.
