    Abstract
 
Pismenost je večna spremenljivka izobraževalnega obdobja, ki jo definiramo kot obvladovanje znanja ali veščin. Mi smo se usmerili v naravoslovno pismenost, ki je ključnega pomena za soočanje z izzivi in problemi sveta. Znotraj teoretičnega dela smo predstavili naslednja poglavja: opredelitev naravoslovne pismenosti, gradniki naravoslovne pismenosti, astronomske vsebine v osnovni šoli, predmet spoznavanja okolja, oblikovanje astronomskih vsebin v osnovni šoli. V praktičnem delu zaključnega dela smo se lotili priprave učnih priprav za razvijanje naravoslovne pismenosti oz. posameznih gradnikov v 1. VIO, natančneje v 3. razredu osnovne šole. V empiričnem delu smo predstavili rezultate testa, ki je preverjal pridobljene kompetence naravoslovne pismenosti na vzorcu 40 učencev 3. razreda. Želeli smo povečati stopnjo naravoslovne pismenosti z optimizacijo učnih priprav, oblikovati učne priprave za učinkovitejše in bolj sistematično posredovanje učne snovi, razviti posodobljene kriterije za ocenjevanje napredka v naravoslovni pismenosti in kritično oceniti ter analizirati učinkovitost posodobljenih strategij za razvoj naravoslovne pismenosti.

            | Secondary abstract: | Literacy is a constant variable of the educational period, defined as the mastery of knowledge or skills. We are focusing on science literacy, which is key to facing the challenges and problems of the world. Within the theoretical part, we have presented the following chapters: the definition of science literacy, the building blocks of science literacy, astronomy content in primary school, the subject of environmental awareness, the design of astronomy content in primary school. In the practical part of the final part of the thesis, we have started to prepare teaching materials for the development of science literacy or the individual building blocks in the 1st educational phase, more specifically in the 3rd grade of primary school). In the empirical part, we present the results of a test that tested the acquired competences of science literacy in a sample of 40 pupils in grade 3. We wanted to increase the level of science literacy by optimising the teaching preparations, to design teaching preparations for a more effective and systematic delivery of the learning material, to develop updated criteria for assessing progress in science literacy, and to critically evaluate and analyse the effectiveness of the updated strategies for the development of science literacy. |
