Abstract

Govor ljudi označuje, oblikuje in spopolnjuje, zato sva se odločila za raziskovanje stališč vzgojiteljev do vloge staršev v otrokovem govorno-jezikovnem razvoju. V diplomskem delu sva opredelila razliko med govorom in jezikom, predstavila govorno-jezikovni razvoj predšolskega otroka, dejavnike, ki nanj vplivajo, ter vlogo vzgojitelja in staršev v otrokovem govorno-jezikovnem razvoju. V empiričnem delu sva ugotavljala stališča vzgojiteljev iz Vrtca Črnuče do vloge staršev v govorno-jezikovnem razvoju otroka. Podatke sva pridobila z anketnim vprašalnikom in intervjuji. V raziskavo je bilo vključenih 65 vzgojiteljev. Rezultati raziskave so med drugim pokazali, da imajo vzgojitelji pozitivna stališča do vloge staršev v govorno-jezikovnem razvoju predšolskega otroka in da menijo, da je vloga staršev pomembnejša od vloge vzgojitelja, pri čemer je v naši družbi pomembnejša vloga matere kot očeta.

Secondary title: Preschool teachers' views on the role of parents in the preschool child's language development
Secondary abstract: Language characterizes, shapes and refines people. Therefore, we decided to investigate the views of preschool teachers on the role of parents in the linguistic development of children. In the paper we have defined the difference between speech and language, the linguistic development of the preschool child, the factors that influence it and the role of the preschool teacher and the parents in the child´s linguistic development. In the empirical part, we determined the attitudes of Črnuče preschool teachers towards the role of parents in the child´s language development. The data was collected using a questionnaire and an interview. 65 preschool teachers were included in the study. The results of the survey showed, among other things, that the preschool teachers have a positive attitude towards the role of parents in the language development of the preschool child, that they consider the role of the parents to be more important than the role of the preschool teacher and that in our society the role of the mother is more important than the role of the father.
