Abstract
V okviru magistrske raziskave smo preučevali vpliv eksogene salicilne kisline na fiziološke in kemijske lastnosti plodov ameriške borovnice (Vaccinium corymbosum L.) sorte 'Brigitta'. Poskus z dvema obravnavanjema je bil izveden na polju Biotehniške fakultete v Ljubljani v zavarovanem prostoru. Obravnavanja sta vključevala kontrolne rastline in rastline, ki so bile tretirane z 1 mM koncentracijo salicilne kisline. Tretiranje rastlin je potekalo v enem odmerku štirinajst dni pred pričakovanim časom obiranja plodov. Rezultati kažejo, da salicilna kislina ni povzročila statistično značilnih sprememb v trdoti plodov, skupni vsebnosti fenolov, vsebnosti pigmenta v plodovih (h°), niti v vsebnosti vinske, jabolčne in šikimske kisline. Kljub temu pa so bile opažene razlike v parametrih svetlosti (L*). Poleg tega je bila opazna sprememba v večji vsebnosti citronske kisline, pa tudi manjši vsebnosti vseh vrst sladkorjev (saharoza, glukoza, fruktoza, skupni sladkorji). Vsebnost teh spojin je bila manjša v tretiranih plodovih v primerjavi s kontrolnimi, kar nakazuje vpliv salicilne kisline na upočasnjen proces zorenja plodov ameriške borovnice. Hkrati smo zabeležili povečano vsebnost klorofila in bolj postopno zorenje plodov na tretiranih rastlinah.

An experimental study was conducted to investigate the influence of salicylic acid on the physiological and chemical properties of 'Brigitta' highbush blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum L.) fruits. The two-treatment experiment was carried out in a protected area of the Biotechnical Faculty's field in Ljubljana. Plant treatment was conducted in a single dose fourteen days prior to the expected fruit harvest time. The results indicate that salicylic acid did not cause statistically significant changes in fruit firmness, total phenol content, fruit pigment content (h°), nor in the content of tartaric, malic, and shikimic acids. However, differences were observed in the lightness parameter (L*). Additionally, a change was noted in the higher content of citric acid, as well as a lower content of all types of sugars (sucrose, glucose, fructose, total sugars). The content of these compounds was lower in treated fruits compared to the control group, suggesting the influence of salicylic acid on slowing down the ripening process of blueberries. Simultaneously, we recorded an increased chlorophyll content and a more gradual ripening of fruits on treated plants. |
