Abstract

Diplomsko delo obravnava izzive zaposlenih staršev športnikov pri usklajevanju delovnih in družinskih obveznosti ter vlogo družini prijaznih politik pri njihovem premagovanju. Namen raziskave je raziskati časovne in čustvene konflikte, vpliv otrokovih športnih dejavnosti in učinkovitost podpore delodajalcev. Raziskava temelji na kvantitativni metodi z anketnim vprašalnikom, ki ga je izpolnilo 115 staršev športnikov. Podatki so bili analizirani s pomočjo opisne statistike in interpretirani v povezavi z obstoječo literaturo. Raziskava se osredotoča na usklajevanje med delom in družino staršev, ki imajo otroke športnike.

Secondary abstract: The thesis examines the challenges working parents of athletes face in balancing work and family commitments and the role of family-friendly policies in overcoming them. The aim of the research is to explore time and emotional conflicts, the impact of children's sporting activities and the effectiveness of employer support. The research is based on a quantitative method with a questionnaire completed by 115 parents of athletes. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics and interpreted in relation to existing literature. The research focuses on the work-family balance of parents whose children are athletes.
