| Secondary abstract: | The thesis examines the challenges working parents of athletes face in balancing work and family commitments and the role of family-friendly policies in overcoming them. The aim of the research is to explore time and emotional conflicts, the impact of children's sporting activities and the effectiveness of employer support. The research is based on a quantitative method with a questionnaire completed by 115 parents of athletes. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics and interpreted in relation to existing literature. The research focuses on the work-family balance of parents whose children are athletes. |
