diplomsko delo
Abstract
V diplomskem delu so predstavljene različne sodobne teorije o pridobivanju tujega jezika v predšolskem obdobju. Teoretični del diplomskega dela zajema osnove govornega razvoja v prvem in drugem jeziku, dejavnike, ki vplivajo učenje jezika, in vpliv tujega jezika na materinščino. V nadaljevanju diplomskega dela je opisano učenje tujega jezika v predšolskem obdobju. V tem delu so predstavljeni glavni cilji, načela, dejavniki uspešnega učenja tujega jezika v predšolskem obdobju, kritično obdobje učenja tujega jezika, metode poučevanja ter vloga vzgojitelja pri načrtovanju in izvajanju tujega jezika v vrtec. V empiričnem delu diplomske naloge sem želela pridobiti podatke o tem, kako vzgojitelji ocenjujejo uvajanje tujega jezika v vrtec ter kako sami pripomorejo k temu. Anketni vprašalnik je bil v veliko pomoč pri iskanju odgovorov na vprašanja glede zastavljenih ciljev in hipotez. Rezultati so pokazali, da imajo vzgojitelji pozitiven odnos do do zgodnjega učenja tujega jezika in menijo, da zgodnje učenje pozitivno vpliva na otroka. Veliko vzgojiteljev, predvsem mlajše generacije, je pokazalo podporo izvajanju dejavnosti iz tujega jezika ter pripravljenost za dodatno izobraževanje v didaktiki zgodnjega poučevanja tujega jezika.

Secondary abstract: |
The diploma thesis presents several modern theories of language acquisition. The theoretical part presents the basic elements of linguistic development in the first and the second languages, the factors that affect language learning, and the influence of foreign language on mother tongue. Next, the thesis focuses on the learning of foreign language in the preschool period, and presents the main goals, principles and factors for successful foreign language learning at this stage on one hand, as well as the critical period during the learning of a second language, the teaching methods and the role of preschool teachers in the planning and implementation of foreign language teaching in kindergarten on the other. The aim of the empirical part of the thesis was to obtain information on how the preschool teachers evaluate the introduction of a foreign language in kindergarten, and about their own contribution to foreign language teaching. In order to find answers regarding the set aims and hypotheses, I used a questionnaire survey. Results have shown that preschool teachers have a positive attitude towards foreign language learning at such an early age, furthermore, they think that it is beneficial for the child. The majority of preschool teachers, in particular the younger generations, support the learning of foreign languages at the preschool stage, and are willing to participate in additional didactics trainings in the field of early foreign language teaching. |
