In my diploma thesis I explored, how important is the gradual introduction of a child in kindergarten, so for parents as for the child. Introducing the child is the topic faced by professional workers in kindergarten and parents, when they first time bring a child into kindergarten. New environment,whose their children are entering raises before parents a lot of concerns and questions.
In theoretical part on thesis, I touched the child's development up to the third year, primary attachment, the kindergarten as an institution and I described the process of introducing in the kindergarten with the emphasis on troubles of parents and children in the lead-in period. I emphasized the importance of good quality of cooperation between educators and parents.
In empirical work, I wanted to find out in what way are parents accompanied their children in entering into kindergarten, what were their fears and how they are satisfied with the child's welfare after the lead-in period . Even professional workers, I asked, what are the habits of the parents, before entering a child in kindergarten. On the case of the two sections of kindergarten I explored , in what way took place the introducing of children into kindergarten, what was successful, what problems had occurred and how they can be solved in the future.
I found out , that parents and professional workers are satisfied with the way of introducing. Still, parents have various fears when entering a child into kindergarten, which is of course expected, however after lead-in period everyone are satisfied respectively very satisfied with the being of their child in kindergarten. |

V diplomski nalogi sem raziskala, kako pomembno je postopno uvajanje otroka v vrtec, tako za starše kot za otroka. Uvajanje otroka je tema, s katero se srečujejo strokovni delavci v vrtcu in starši, ko prvič pripeljejo otroka v vrtec. Novo okolje, v katerega vstopajo njihovi otroci, postavlja pred starše mnogo skrbi in vprašanj.
V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge sem se dotaknila otrokovega razvoja do tretjega leta, primarne navezanosti, vrtca kot institucije ter opisala proces uvajanja v vrtec s poudarkom na težavah staršev in otrok v uvajalnem obdobju. Poudarila sem pomembnost kakovostnega sodelovanja med vzgojitelji in starši.
V empiričnem delu sem želela ugotoviti, na kakšen način so starši spremljali svoje otroke pri vstopu v vrtec, kakšni so bili njihovi strahovi in kako so zadovoljni s počutjem otroka po uvajanju. Tudi strokovne delavke sem vprašala, kakšne so navade staršev pred vstopom otroka v vrtec. Na primeru dveh oddelkov vrtca sem raziskala, kako je potekalo uvajanje otrok v vrtec, kaj je bilo uspešno, kakšne težave so se pojavljale in kako jih je mogoče v prihodnje reševati.
Ugotovila sem, da so tako starši kot tudi strokovne delavke zadovoljne z načinom uvajanja. Še vedno pa imajo starši različne strahove ob vstopu otroka v vrtec, kar je seveda pričakovano, vendar so po uvajanju prav vsi zadovoljni oziroma zelo zadovoljni s počutjem otroka v vrtcu. |
