There is a lot of project work done in kindergartens. The teachers encourage the children to be as active as possible and stimulate independent research. Several studies have shown that learning through research has several advantages compared to traditional learning. The research approach focuses on the development of the child's capabilities, construction of knowledge and development of the child's potentials.
The thesis was done in accordance with the principles of active research. The following subjects are explained in the theoretical part: what is active learning, which types of research activities are there, what the steps in the closed type of research are and what is the role of the teacher in this process.
The project – the process closed type of research – is included in the empirical part. The children were asked to answer what goes on at the railway station. The activities were evaluated during the activities. |
