Preserving hometown cultural heritage with children's folklore group Preddvor |

This diploma thesis captures different ways of preserving cultural heritage with a folk dance group. Manners of work with children's folk dance groups, their purpose and the idea what children might gain with this activity are introduced. It is divided carefully what children's folk dance groups preserve – dances, songs, the most frequent games, countingout rhymes, children's musical instruments are all described, and how a child is clamped among holidays throughout the year as well. I focused on the original folk dance group from Preddvor, past presented activities of folk association and besides that I described Children's folk dance section Preddvor closely.
In empirical part I analysed filled in survey questionnaires from 3rd to 5th class of primary school Matija Valjavec Preddvor. I wanted to determine how well pupils know the past, customs and a life of people in their hometown and what is the part that folk dance group has at this. How well do pupils know dances, songs, games, countingout rhymes and customs of Preddvor and Gorenjska region in general? I analysed pupils' responses and I presented them graphically as well. Besides, with children's folk dance group Preddvor I have prepared the stage setting called »I will buy myself a sewing needle« for pupils of primary school Matija Valjavec. |

Diplomsko delo zajema različne načine ohranjanja kulturne dediščine s folklorno skupino. Predstavljen je način dela otroških folklornih skupin, kaj je njihov namen in kaj otroci s to dejavnostjo pridobijo. Iz literature sem povzela, kaj otroške folklorne skupine ohranjajo, opisani so plesi, pesmi, najbolj pogoste igre, izštevanke, otroška glasbila in kako je otrok vpet med praznike skozi leto. Osredotočila sem se na izvirno folklorno skupino iz Preddvora, predstavila preteklost delovanja folklornega društva in opisala Otroško folklorno sekcijo Preddvor.
V empiričnem delu sem izvedla anketni vprašalnik od 3. do 5. razreda osnovne šole Matija Valjavca v Preddvoru. Želela sem ugotoviti, kako dobro učenci poznajo preteklost, šege in življenje ljudi v domačem kraju ter kakšno vlogo ima pri tem folklorna skupina, kako dobro učenci poznajo plese, pesmi, igre, izštevanke, glasbila in običaje iz Gorenjske oz. Preddvora. Odgovore učencev sem analizirala in jih grafično predstavila. Poleg tega sem za učence razredne stopnje osnovne šole Matija Valjavca pripravila nastop otroške folklorne skupine Preddvor z odrsko postavitvijo Jaz si bom šivanko kupil. S tem smo predstavili delo folklorne skupine in način poustvarjanja ljudskega izročila. |
