Creative movement in extracurricular activities in first and second grade of primar school |
Secondary abstract: |
In my graduation paper I described creative movement as an after-school club for pupils of first and second grade of elementary school. By taking on this after-school club I tried to encourage and develop the danceability of children, stimulate in them a relaxed and pleasant mood through movement, and inspire the children to create a dramatization, by means of which they would do a presentation of their creativity.
The theoretical part includes the description of the developmental characteristics of a young pupil, which is part of the empirical part, creativity and encouragement through movement and play, a non-mandatory after-school club, creative movement and danceability, relaxation activities, and dance education planning. In the empirical part I tried to establish how the movement-dance activities affect the development of danceability and children's moods by becoming the organizer and leader of creative movement in the form of a non-mandatory after-school club. The whole creative process was shown through a dramatization of the play Deklica in metulj (A Girl and a Butterfly) by Eveline Umek.
The after-school club had 6 participants from first and second grade of elementary school. Data was collected based on unstructured observations, analyses of videos I took during the after-school club, and on talking to the participating children.
I found out that by including movement-dance activities into the after-school club the danceability of children was greatly enhanced, they were in very good mood and relaxed, and they were enabled to be creative and take part in presenting the creative process. |

Abstract (ePrints): |
Diplomsko delo obravnava ustvarjalni gib kot interesno dejavnost v prvem in drugem razredu osnovne šole. Z vodenjem interesne dejavnosti sem želela spodbuditi in razvijati plesnost otrok, omogočiti nastanek sproščenega in prijetnega občutja ob gibanju, ter jih spodbuditi k oblikovanju dramatizacije, s katero bodo svoje ustvarjanje predstavili publiki.
Ugotovila sem, da z vključevanjem gibalno-plesnih aktivnosti v interesno dejavnost spodbujamo plesnost otrok, prispevamo k dobremu in sproščenemu počutju in otrokom omogočimo oblikovanje in predstavitev ustvarjalnega procesa. |
