The purpose of this diploma paper was to present leisure time activities of adults with moderate intellectual disability who live at home and adults with moderate intellectual disability who live in social care institution Dom Lukavci and to determine differences among them.
In theoretical part we presented the quality of life and important part of it – leisure time. We have also presented possibilities of care, help and residing of adults with moderate intellectual disability, and also their features in adulthood and ageing process. Quality leisure time is the right of every individual, so we have also included rights of person with intellectual disability.
In the empirical part we performed a research where we were researching how adults with moderate intellectual disability spend their free time and differences between persons who live at home and the ones that live in social care institution Dom Lukavci. The results show that there are no important differences among both groups, however both of them have the desire to change their leisure time activities. |

Namen diplomskega dela je bil prikazati prostočasne aktivnosti odraslih oseb z zmerno motnjo v duševnem razvoju, ki bivajo doma in odraslih oseb z zmerno motnjo v duševnem razvoju, ki bivajo v socialno varstvenem zavodu Dom Lukavci ter ugotoviti razlike med njimi.
V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili kvaliteto življenje in njem pomemben dejavnik - prosti čas. Predstavljene so tudi možnosti oskrbe, pomoči in bivanja odraslih oseb z zmerno motnjo v duševnem razvoju ter njihove značilnosti v obdobju odraslosti in staranja. Kvalitetno preživljanje prostega časa je pravica vsakega posameznika, zato smo vključili tudi pravice oseb z motnjo v duševnem razvoju.
V empiričnem delu smo opravili raziskavo, v kateri smo preučevali, kako odrasle osebe z zmerno motnjo v duševnem razvoju preživljajo prosti čas in razlike med tistimi osebami, ki bivajo doma ter tistimi, ki bivajo v socialno varstvenem zavodu Dom Lukavci. Iz dobljenih rezultatov je razvidno, da med obema skupinama oseb, ni pomembnih razlik v preživljanju prostega časa, imata pa obe skupini želje po spremembah v preživljanju prostega časa. |
