Secondary title: Problem topics in picture books
Secondary abstract: In my diploma, I concentrated on the problem topics in picture books, especially on topics of sex. The youth literature contains a lot of topics that describes life, for who many adults prefer hide away from children. Even we live in a plural and different world are many topics still taboo. Selected topics is certainly topical in the modern world, even many prejudices are present in daily life. In my diploma, I researched what about selected topics think students on teaching faculty and what students the second grade on primary school Toneta Čufarja in Ljubljana. Through analysing picture books on teaching faculty and reading selected picture book in a second grade on primary school I got next conclusions. The first, students would read with children picture books with topic of sex and the second, children already don΄t have prejudices to different people. Apparently younger generation overcomes prejudices. Analysis revealed that the most suitable picture book is In s Tango smo trije (Justin Richardson and Peter Parnell, 2010) and the least Sosedje in prijatelji (Lawrence Schimel, 2008). Those picture books which represent problem topic of sex are first translated in slovene language.

Čeprav živimo v pluralni in sodobni družbi, je v Sloveniji še veliko detabuiziranih tem. Obravnavana tematika je v sodobni družbi vsekakor aktualna, čeprav so tovrstni predsodki še živi. V diplomskem delu sem raziskala, kakšen je odnos študentov Pedagoške fakultete Univerze (Ljubljana) in učencev 2. razreda Osnovne šole Toneta Čufarja (Ljubljana) do problemske tematike.
