Secondary title: Change management in construction project
Secondary abstract: The thesis deals with the changes in general and in construction projects, and their management. The first part is focused on main features of project and project management, as they present the basis for successful change management. General process of change management is presented, and the taxonomy of changes that divides the changes in stages and categories is described. The thesis further presents a model for change management in construction projects. This model has been developed for the construction of educational institutions in Singapore. With further improvements and modifications it could be useful for managing changes in other types of construction projects as well. The final section presents the planning, implementation and controls of selected construction project “Construction of public parking and public market in Kanal” and an overview of change management in this project. Based on an analysis of this case study, controls and measures that could reduce or even avoid changes are suggested.

Abstract (ePrints): Diplomska naloga predstavlja spremembe v splošnem in gradbenem projektu, njihovo upravljanje ter obvladovanje. V zadnjem delu diplomske naloge predstavljam planiranje, izvajanje in obvladovanje sprememb na primeru izbranega gradbenega projekta “Gradnja javnega parkirišča in javne tržnice v Kanalu”.
