Abstract

Poklicni gasilci delujemo v nenehno spreminjajočem dinamičnem okolju. Uspešnost dela ob vsakodnevnih posredovanjih na naravnih in drugih nesrečah je odvisna od strokovne usposobljenosti in opremljenosti zaposlenih v gasilski enoti. Z diplomsko nalogo želim na osnovi analize obstoječega stanja predlagati možne rešitve motiviranja zaposlenih v enoti za izobraževanje. Diplomska naloga je sestavljena iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu sem predstavil trenutno stanje in organiziranost poklicne gasilske enote GRS Kranj, empirični del diplomske naloge pa je namenjen predstavitvi rezultatov raziskave s področja motivacije zaposlenih za izobraževanje ter njihovi statistični analizi. Rezultati raziskave kažejo, da imajo zaposleni interes po dodatnem strokovnem izobraževanju. Glavni motiv za nadaljnje izobraževanje je osebnostni razvoj in spoštovanje, posledično pa tudi možnost napredovanja na višja funkcijska mesta.

Secondary abstract: SUMMARY Professional firefighters operate in a constantly changing and dynamic environment. Performance of the daily interventions caused by the natural or other manmade disasters depends on the proficiency of employees and equipment used in the fire service. With the thesis, based on the analysis of the existing situation, I want to indicate possible solutions to motivate employees in the unit for further education. The thesis consists of theoretical and empirical work. In the theoretical part I will present the current status and structure of the Professional Fire and Rescue Service Kranj. The empirical part of the thesis is devoted to the presentation of research results in the field of employee motivation and its statistical analysis. The result of research shows the interest of the employees for additional professional education. The main reason for the continuity process of education is personal development and respect, and consequently the opportunity for advancement to higher functional positions in the structure of the Fire and Rescue Service.
