Abstract

V diplomskem delu z naslovom Možnosti vključevanja staršev v različne organizacijske oblike predšolske športne vadbe smo v teoretičnem delu predstavili otrokov gibalni razvoj in vplive dednosti, okolja in lasne aktivnosti nanj. Izpostavili smo vlogo staršev in vlogo vrtca v otrokovem gibalnem razvoju ter pomen gibalno izkušenjskega okolja. Ob upoštevanju starosti in spola staršev smo raziskali predvsem poznavanje ponudbe in oblik gibalno-športnih dejavnosti v vrtcu, odvisnost vključevanja v omenjene oblike dejavnosti in možnostmi, ki jih vrtec ponuja.

Secondary title: OPPORTUNITIES TO ENGAGE PARENTS IN DIFFERENT ORGANISATIONAL FORMS OF PRES-SCHOOL SPORTS ACTIVITIES
Secondary abstract: In the theoretical part of the diploma paper Opportunities to engage parents in different organisational forms of pre-school sports activities we presented children's motor development and the influences of heredity, environment, and personal activity on motor development. We highlighted the role of parents and the role of kindergarten in children's motor development and the importance of a supportive environment for motor skills. We presented the importance of engaging parents in the kindergarten's sport activities. The empiric part of the diploma paper includes the findings of the research gathered with the use of an anonymous survey questionnaire on a sample of sixty parents of the children who attend the Ivan Glinšek Maribor kindergarten, Pristan unit, and who participated in a conventional exercise lesson entitled Children and parents exercise together. The purpose of the research was to evaluate in more detail the opportunities for and interest in engaging parents in the different organizational forms of physical education. Taking into account the age and gender of the parents, we mainly researched their familiarity with the types of motor-sport activities offered in the kindergarten, as well as the correlation between the parents' age and gender and their inclusion in the mentioned forms of activities given the opportunities the kindergarten offers. We also researched the factors that limit parental participation in sport activities with their children. The research results show that familiarity with the kindergarten's motor-sport activities increases with the parents' age, that the kindergarten does not offer enough possibilities for parental inclusion in the joint sport activities, that the parents of preschool children are interested and eager to be included in the motor-sport activities in the kindergarten together with their child, that lack of time is the main reason parents are unable to attend regular sport exercises with their children, and that fathers engage in motor-sport activities with their children more frequently than mothers.
