Abstract

Naslov diplomskega dela je Osnovna šola Košaki od 1945 do 1968. Namen dela je predstaviti nastanek in delovanje OŠ Košaki v času, ko je šola delovala kot samostojna izobraževalna ustanova (1945-1968). Podrobneje je opisano prvo povojno obdobje, ko se je šolstvo v novonastali Jugoslaviji moralo sestaviti. V raziskavah o mariborskem šolstvu najdemo podatke o najslabšem učnem uspehu med vsemi mariborskimi šolami, zato smo preverili, ali to lahko potrdimo, in ugotovili, kateri dejavniki so vplivali na slab učni uspeh te šole. Z natančnim študijem šolskih kronik, ki so bile naš temeljni vir raziskovanja, smo primerjali zgodnja in pozna obdobja delovanja šole ter spremljali vpliv šolske reforme na razvoj šole. Njen učni uspeh smo primerjali z ostalimi mariborskimi šolami tistega časa. Kot skupek koščkov, ki smo jih iskali na raznih krajih, želimo šoli v spomin podariti mesto na knjižnih policah. Da bi lažje razumeli vzroke za nastanek šole, smo preučili širšo zgodovino šolstva na Slovenskem in poudarek namenili osnovnemu šolstvu v Mariboru ter opisali obstoj OŠ Krčevina pri Mariboru, na kateri so se pred ustanovitvijo OŠ Košaki šolali otroci s košaškega predela mesta. Kraj, ki je zdaj mestno naselje, je nekoč bil samostojna občina, zato je bilo smiselno, da opišemo krajevne in zgodovinske značilnosti Maribora nasploh in poiščemo podrobnosti o Košakih ter prikažemo življenje v kraju pred in po II. svetovni vojni. Raziskovalne metode, ki smo jih uporabili pri nastanku teoretičnega diplomskega dela, so: zgodovinska, deskriptivna, komparativna, induktivna ter metoda analize in sinteze. Z njimi smo ob natančnem študiju literature uspeli dokazati, da je bil sloves slabega učnega uspeha na podeželski osnovni šoli upravičen. Poiskali smo glavne in stranske dejavnike vpliva na uspeh, ki se kažejo v šolskem obisku, sodelovanju doma in staršev, materialnih razmerah na šoli, prizadevanju učiteljev, socialnemu stanju doma, vplivu masovnih organizacij v kraju in v povojnem opustošenju nasploh.

Secondary abstract: Title of my diploma paper is Primary School Košaki between years 1945 until 1968. The purpose of my diploma paper is to introduce school's origin and operation in times when the school was operating as independent educational institution (1945-1968). Post war period is detailed described since the school had to be reconstructed in the new Yugoslavia. Research about schools in Maribor is giving us the information about lowest academic performance in primary schools of Maribor that is why we were trying to find out what were the factors that influenced low academic performance in Primary School Košaki. We thoroughly overviewed the school chronics which were the main source of our research and we compared earlier and late periods of school operation, we researched what was the influence of school reform on the school development. We compared school's academic performance with other schools in Maribor. In my diploma paper we have researched general history of schools in Slovenian territory, mainly the history of primary schools in Maribor and we have described the existence of Primary School Krčevina near Maribor, which was the predecessor of Primary School Košaki. We have also described local and historical characteristics of Maribor and we were looking for particularities of Košaki. In addition we have introduced life in Košaki before and after the Second World War. When writing theoretical part of diploma paper we used different research methods: historical, descriptive, comparative, inductive method, method of analyzing and method of synthesis. With all those methods we successfully proved that the reputation of lower academic performance was justified. We have also introduced the main and side factors that influenced academic performance in Primary School Košaki.
