Abstract

Secondary title: ǂThe ǂanalysis of business environment and risks of Indian market
Secondary abstract: International business means business transaction between two or more countries. Since each country has its own way of doing business, company that chooses to do business in another country, must analyse the business environment of this market. Business environment of foreign countries differ, so entering a foreign market is more difficult for domestic companies to adapt to foreign market conditions. Accurate analysis of business environment is important for companies to enter the foreign market, as it brings growth, development and competitive advantages, otherwise - deficient analysis of business environment - the risk of failure. Also, companies need to fully understand potential business partners, with whom they could cooperate in the future. India is a fast growing economy, but on the other hand, one third of the population is still living below the poverty line. Also, the number of Indian population is growing (the country is currently in 2nd place in the world - after China), but forecast suggests, that by 2030 India will come to 1st place. The Indian market presents an opportunity for companies to successfully develop and become even more competitive to other Indian companies. As the business etiquette in India varies from business etiquette in western European countries, the knowledge of business practices in India is very important for international marketing professional, so that he / she can successfully compete in the Indian market. We came to the conclusion, that before doing business in foreign country (especially in a country like India, where the risk of business is still high), it is important to analyse the business environment of the country to which the company enters, because it allows the successful development and competitive advantages.
