Abstract

V tej diplomski nalogi bomo pregledali grafični pogon Unity, ki služi kot orodje za razvoj računalniških iger. Spoznali bomo orodja, ki jih grafični pogon Unity uporablja pri izdelovanju iger. To zajema: urejevalnik okolja Unity, materiale in njihove senčnike, delo s fizikalnimi lastnostmi objektov, zvok in orodje za osvetlitev znotraj igre. Vse naštete komponente bomo praktično uporabili in predstavili ob gradnji realno časovne strateške igre Varovanje terena za internetni brskalnik. Ob koncu bomo pregledali trg mobilnih iger in izpostavili bistvene razlike med razvojem igre z okoljem Microsoft XNA in Unity.

Secondary abstract: In this thesis, we will present the Unity game engine that serves as a tool for developing computer games. The most important parts of the Unity game engine such as Unity user interface, materials and their shaders, physical properties of game objects, managing of the sound and lighting trough the game are presented in the detail at the beginning. All these components will be practically presented in the construction of a real time strategy online game Terrain guarding. Finally, we will review the mobile games markets and highlight the essential differences between developing games with Microsoft XNA and Unity.
