Abstract

Diplomsko delo obravnava manj znano obliko matričnega množenja - Hadamardov produkt matrik. V uvodnem poglavju spoznamo osnovne pojme s področja matrik, nekatere posebne oblike le-teh s pripadajočimi lastnostmi, ter definicije in izreke na temo definitnost. Drugo poglavje predstavlja Hadamardov produkt in pomembno lastnost le-tega - Schurov izrek. V nadaljevanju poglavja so podane Oppenheimova in Hadamardova neenakost ter nekatere druge neenakosti, povezane z omenjenim produktom, in dva posebna primera tega matričnega množenja.

Secondary abstract:	Thesis deals with a less known form of matrix multiplication - Hadamard product of matrices. In the infirst chapter we introduce the definition and basic properties of matrices, certain specific forms of these and definitions and theorems about definiteness. The second chapter presents Hadamard product and an important result - Schur theorem. Later in this chapter inequalities of Oppenheim and Hadamard are given as well as some other inequalities associated with that product. We also present two special cases of matrix multiplication.
