diplomsko delo
Abstract
Postavitev same spletne strani v svetovni splet ni več dovolj.

Eletronic commerce has expanded rapidly in the last two decades. Restraining of electronic commerce and online marketing became essential and necessary for survival of the company. This is especially visible in the tourism sector. Occurrence and development of the internet gives users quick access to all kinds of tourist information they need to decide on the purchase of tourism services. Even companies are aware, that the presentation on the internet can improve bussines conditions and create higher profits.
Setting up of the website alone is no longer sufficient, the agencies need a strategic plan, they need to monitor customer satisfaction, and need to look for ways to improve and become more competitive constantly. During the process of writing we've found that a good starting page is the key that attracts the user for further browsing. It should be rich in graphics, multimedia links and navigation. The shape of the website should be simple, thematically connected, and user friendly. Menu must be easily visible and logically divided, it is also desirable to have a quick search of offers. The information must be up-to-date, pictures, videos, and animation must be of a high quality, font must be appropriate, and such colours must be used, that visibility would be optimal.
After analysing the websites of three Slovene and three Irish travel agencies we've found that mostly all meet the criteria. There were errors and disadvantages as well as advantages at every individual site. It would be important for the angencies to look into these advantages and disadvantages in order to create a competitive website, which would allow them to create profit. |
