Abstract
Diplomsko delo z naslovom Vzgoja za trajnostni razvoj v Vrtcu "Otona Župančiča" Slovenska Bistrica z vidika participacije otrok je razdeljeno na teoretični in empirični del. V teoretičnem delu smo s pomočjo literature proučili trajnostni razvoj vse od njegovih začetkov do današnjih dni. Nadalje smo proučili vzgojo in izobraževanje za trajnostni razvoj, cilje in načela le-te, razlike med okoljsko vzgojo in vzgojo za trajnostni razvoj. Analizirali smo tudi Kurikulum za vrtce, ker nas je zanimalo, koliko je vzgoja za trajnostni razvoj vključena vanj. Posvetili smo se tudi vzgoji za trajnostni razvoj v predšolskem obdobju. Na koncu smo proučili še participacijo predšolskih otrok. V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela so predstavljeni rezultati anketnega vprašalnika, ki so ga izpolnjevali vzgojitelji v Vrtcu "Otona Župančiča" Slovenska Bistrica. S pomočjo rezultatov anketnega vprašalnika smo pridobili mnenje vzgojiteljev o pomembnosti vzgoje za trajnostni razvoj v vrtcu, oceno vzgojiteljev o zadostni usposobljenosti za kakovostno izvajanje vzgoje za trajnostni razvoj, stališče vzgojiteljev do participacije otrok v vzgoji za trajnostni razvoj in v kolikšni meri so vzgojitelji pripravljeni sprejeti participacijo otrok.

This diploma thesis, Education for sustainable development in the Kindergarten "Oton Župančič" Slovenska Bistrica in terms of children's participation, is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. In the theoretical part we, through literature, studied the sustainable development from its beginnings until now. Further, we studied upbringing and education for sustainable development, its goals and principles, the differences between environmental education and education for sustainable development. As well, we analysed the Curriculum for kindergartens, since we were interested to what extent the curriculum includes the education for sustainable development. We additionally focused on the education for sustainable development in the preschool period. At the end we also studied the participation of preschool children. The empirical part of the diploma thesis represents the results of the survey questionnaire which was filled out by preschool teachers in the Kindergarten "Oton Župančič" Slovenska Bistrica. The results of the survey questionnaire gave us the preschool teachers' opinion about the importance of education for sustainable development in the kindergarten; the preschool teachers' assessment of the adequate qualification for a qualitative execution of education for sustainable development; the preschool teachers' position about the participation of the children in the education for sustainable development; and to what extent preschool teachers are willing to accept the children's participation. |
