jezikovnostilna analiza kratkih humornih besedil, imenovanih ocvirki
Abstract
V empiričnem delu naloge smo z besedilnega vidika analizirali 30 primerov humornih besedil, t. i. ocvirkov. V analizi smo skušali določiti tista semantična scenarija, na katerih temelji humor. V nekaj primerih smo zgradbo ocvirkov ponazorili s pojmovnim, relacijskim omrežjem.

Secondary abstract: |
The thesis on Humour on the Last Page: Linguistic and Stylistic Analysis of Short Humorous Texts Called "ocvirki" is separated into two parts. Theoretical part presents basic definitions of text and findings on humour made so far. The latter includes basic theoretical claims on types of humour and criterions for determining which texts are humorous. Semantic script theory of humour (SSTH) and general theory of verbal humour (GTVH) are also described in terms of humour. In addition, we included the classification of jokes by Mojca Stritar which is based on joke classification presented by Delia Chiaro. Finally, we described the possibilities for ambiguity in the words or structure of language which can have humorous effect. The empirical part presents the analysis of 30 examples of short humours texts. On the basis of semantic scripts we tried to explain why these texts are humorous. The structure of some examples was shown with semantic network. In the analysis we explained how violation of the maxims of cooperative principle and various ambiguities in language structure contribute to funniness of a text. We ascertain that humour results from unexpected or from a conflict among two opposite semantic scripts which base upon ambiguity and vagueness in structure of language. |
