Abstract

Podjetja, ki delujejo v današnjem sodobnem poslovnem svetu, so izpostavljena vedno večji konkurenci, vedno večjim in hitrejšim spremembam, na kar se morajo prilagoditi, če želijo dolgoročno obstati. Z oblikovanjem dobavnih verig si podjetja lahko zagotovijo konkurenčno prednost. Sodelovanje v dobavnih verigah je trend, ki se pojavlja na globalnem trgu, ki pomaga podjetjem, da se združijo v neko celoto in si med sabo pomagajo.Najpomembnejše v današnjem poslovnem svetu je obvladovanje tveganj in zavedanje podjetij, da s samim obvladovanjem tveganj lahko dosegajo večjo konkurenčnost in učinkovitost dobavne verige. V magistrskem delu smo želeli prikazati, kako so podjetja v slovenski kovinsko-predelovalni industriji pripravljena na tveganja, ki so jim izpostavljena.

Secondary abstract:	Organizations that are involved in today’s modern business world are exposed to increasing competition, grater and faster changes, on which they need to adjust, if they want to be successful on long-term. Supply chain collaboration is a trend that is accruing in the global market, which helps companies to merge into a whole and help each other. The big issue in the supply chain is also quick adjustment and quick reaction to certain situations that may arise. That is why we focused in this thesis on supply chain management and risk management inside of supply chain. Risks to which companies are exposed to, are occurring on a daily basis, therefore we focused on risk management approach. The most important in today’s business world is risk management and the awareness of the companies that with the risk management they can achieve competitiveness and efficiency of the supply chain. In this thesis, we wanted to show how Slovenian companies in the metal-processing industry prepared itself to the risks they are exposed to.
