diplomsko delo
Abstract

Analysis of performing natural bodily movements in kindergartens |
Secondary abstract: |
This diploma thesis entitled Analysis of performing natural forms of movement in kindergartens consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. In the theoretical part, movement and child development is presented, namely children's movement development and the importance of sport activities for preschool children. Major categories of natural forms of movement are presented and explained in detail. In the empirical part, a descriptive method, a causal nonexperimental research method, and a non-probability sample of a specific population in Maribor kindergartens were used. As a research instrument, two checklists into which fifty-five students entered their observations during their twelve-week practical training period in nine kindergartens in Maribor were used. The purpose of the research was to present the importance and the role of natural forms of movement within the context of movement development of preschool children. The aim was to determine the scope of natural forms of movement within the context of exercise and sport activities in kindergartens and the scope of natural forms of movement within the context of other fields of the curriculum. It was determined that the natural forms of movement occurred in all age groups in the kindergartens. During exercise and sport activities, the natural form of movement - walking was performed most often, and the natural form of movement - drawing was performed the least often. During activities in other fields of the curriculum, the natural form of movement - walking again occurred most often, and the natural form of movement - depth jumps occurred the least often. |
