Abstract
Namen diplomskega dela je predstaviti vpliv izkušnje skupnega bivanja z osebami s posebnimi potrebami na jadrnici. Ta socialno-pedagoška izkušnja je namreč posamezniku pripomogla, da je odnos do teh oseb spremenil. V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge najprej definiram osebe s posebnimi potrebami. Kdo so ti posamezniki in na podlagi česa jih okolje definira kot »drugačne«. Ker so s strani okolice nemalokrat deležni neutemeljenih predsodkov in stereotipov preverim, kateri so ti predsodki in zakaj do njih sploh pride. V nadaljevanju predstavim eno od oblik socialno-pedagoškega dela, doživljajsko pedagogiko. Po pregledu doživljajske pedagogike kot celote, se osredotočim na eno od metod dela znotraj le te - jadranje. Predstavim pomen, cilje ter namen tovrstne doživljajsko-pedagoške aktivnosti. Ob zaključku teoretičnega dela izpostavim še primere dobrih praks jadranja z osebami s posebnimi potrebami. V empiričnem delu predstavim na podlagi opravljenega intervjuja individualno izkušnjo kot primer dobre prakse pri odpravi negativnih predsodkov do oseb s posebnimi potrebami.

The impact of the experience of special sailing on the attitude towards people with special needs |
Secondary abstract: |
The intention of this thesis is to present the impact of experience and co-existence with people with special needs on the sailing boat. This socio-pedagogical experience has helped individuals to change their attitude towards people with special needs. In theoretical part I define the people with special needs. Who are those individuals and on what basis are they defined as “different”? Since those individuals often receive unjustified prejudices and stereotypes by the surroundings, I check what are those prejudices and why they happen. Further I present a form of socio-pedagogical work, experiential pedagogy. After reviewing experiential pedagogy as a whole, I focus on one of the working methods within it - sailing. I then introduce the importance, objectives and purpose of this type of experiential-educational activities. At the conclusion of the theoretical part I point out examples of good practices in sailing with persons with disabilities. In the empirical part, based on the interview I introduce individual experience at sailing as and example of good practice which can also change the attitudes toward persons with disabilities. |
