Abstract

V zaključnem delu z naslovom Razumevanje navodil in razvoj besednjaka otrok v prvem starostnem obdobju je avtorica s pomočjo izbrane literature v teoretičnem delu najprej predstavila jezik, mišljenje in govor. V nadaljevanju je opredelila razvoj govora, potek razvoja govora, metode in načine dela pri delu z otroki, pojasnila, kako in s čim spodbujamo govorni razvoj otrok v vrtcu in poslušanje. Namen empiričnega dela je raziskati otrokovo razumevanje govora in podanih navodil v časovnem obdobju petih mesecev. Ugotoviti želimo razvoj besednjaka otrok v času med prvim in drugim preverjanjem. Rezultati, pridobljeni na podlagi izvedbe empiričnega dela, so pokazali, da otrokov govor in besednjak napredujeta. Pri nekaterih otrocih hitreje kot pri drugih. Ob drugem preverjanju so se v večini vsi otroci odzvali navodilu in za razliko od prvega preverjanja še zraven kaj povedali.

Secondary abstract: In the theoretical part of the diploma thesis entitled Understanding instructions and vocabulary development of children in the first age group, the author presented language, thinking, and speech based on the literature of choice. Further, she defined speech development, process of speech development, methods and ways of working with children, how and with what can we encourage speech development of kindergarten children, as well as listening. The purpose of the empirical part was to research a child's understanding of speech and given instructions within a time period of five months. We tried to find out how a child's vocabulary developed between the first and second testing. The results acquired based on the empirical part showed that a child's speech and vocabulary progressed. In some children, however, faster compared to others. In the second testing, more or less all children responded to the instructions, and compared to the first testing, they even said some more.
