Abstract

V okviru diplomskega dela smo z analizo življenjskega cikla (LCA) ocenili vplive na okolje (abiotsko izkoriščanje surovinskih virov, potencial acidifikacije, evtrofikacije, globalnega segrevanja, tanjšanja ozonske plasti, tvorbe fotokemičnega potenciala), ki nastajajo v celotnem življenjskem ciklu proizvodnje piva, ki obsega: pridobivanje surovin, dobavo in transport materialov in embalaže, proizvodnjo in ravnanje po uporabi. Analizirali smo okoljske vplive posameznih faz proizvodnje piva s primerjanjem različnih vrst embalaž (nepovratna steklenica, pločevinka, PET plastenka) Z analizo rezultatov smo ugotovili, da je polnjenje piva v nepovratne steklenice okolju najbolj škodljivo. Druga najslabša možnost embaliranja piva so pločevinke in najslabša možnost pakiranje piva v PET plastenke.

Secondary title: Environmental impact assessment of beer production from life cycle perspective
Secondary abstract: This diploma work evaluates environmental impacts (abiotic depletion, acidification potential, eutrophication potential, global warming, ozone depletion, photochemical potential) generated throught the life cycle of beer production by life cycle analysis (LCA). lIFE CYCLE CONSISTED OF: raw materials utilization, supply and transportation of materials nad packing, production and management of packing after use. Environental impacts of beer production have been analyzed by comparing the different packing options (glass, cans, PET bottles. Results showed that the highest environmental impact is caused with filling beer in glass bottles, followed by aluminium cans. The best option is packing beer into PET bottles.
